About James

James Rhodes operates a general solicitor's practice focused on business law and real estate law. In business law he acts for clients on incorporations, corporate governance, reorganizations, shareholder and partnership agreements, business purchases and sales, financings, and general contract matters. In real estate he assists with conveyances, commercial leasing, purchase contracts, mortgages, easements, and covenants. Before law he studied accounting and finance and worked at a large international accounting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction from the University of Victoria (2014) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria (2018), and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2019.
