About Jack

Jack is a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay who has practised with CARREL+Partners LLP since his call to the Ontario bar in 1979, with 30 years of experience in commercial litigation, insolvency, and corporate and commercial law. He has served as counsel to the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation and its predecessors since 1986, and represents the Thunder Bay International Airports Authority, having acted as counsel through the 1997 transfer of the Thunder Bay Airport from Transport Canada. Jack earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Lakehead University in 1974, graduating as a Gold Medalist, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario with distinction in 1977. He's a member of the Thunder Bay Law Association, the Rotary Club of the Lakehead and the Institute of Municipal Assessors of Ontario.
