About Lori

Lori Kruse earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, First Class Standing, from Lakehead University in 2001 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2004. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2005 and has practised in her hometown of Thunder Bay since then, focusing on civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance-related claims, including defence litigation, coverage issues, and subrogated claims, and personal injury litigation such as motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls. She also has experience with professional negligence claims, contract disputes, debt collection, property claims, product liability, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, real estate disputes, estate litigation, and employment disputes, and has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and the Federal Court of Canada. She serves as a Director for the Thunder Bay Law Association's Board and previously taught as a Civil Procedure Small Group Instructor at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law.
