Geoffrey Howard is the founder and principal of Howard Chern Employment Law, where he advises employers and employees on the full range of employment relationship issues, including employment agreements, terminations, human rights and accommodation, benefit plans, stock options and shareholder disputes arising from termination. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 1989 and British Columbia in 1994, holds an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia (1987), and is a Lexpert-ranked and Best Lawyers-recognized employment lawyer. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Employment, Labour and Privacy Section and the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers, and speaks and writes fluently in French, advising clients on Quebec matters in French alongside a Quebec partner firm.
