About Vanessa

Vanessa Major joined De Man Pillet in 2014 after completing her articling there. She advises clients across maritime law, transportation law, and civil and commercial litigation, acting as counsel for a diverse clientele including importers and exporters, oil suppliers, shipping companies, freight forwarders and marine insurers. Her experience includes cargo damage claims, ship arrests, insurance coverage disputes and charter-party litigation, and she represents clients before all levels of Quebec's provincial courts and the Federal Court of Canada.
