About Alain

Alain Barrette has practised law for more than 30 years, focusing on civil litigation, commercial law, inheritance law, insurance and real estate law, banking law, consumer law, construction law, labour law, and collection law. He has appeared before numerous courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada, representing high-profile clients in complex cases. He acquired a law firm in Lachine in 1990 and has led Barrette & Associés since then. He was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1985 and holds an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal (1984). He has been an accredited civil and commercial mediator with the Barreau du Québec since 2010. He has served as an administrator for several organizations, including LaSalle College, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Classical Choir, and the Lachine Hospital Foundation.
