Construction LawAntoine Bigenwald's practice is focused on construction law and the professional liability of architects and engineers, along with product liability cases involving construction components. He has specialized in construction law and dispute resolution for more than 20 years, representing clients from owners to subcontractors, architects, engineers, promoters, general contractors and sureties before Quebec courts, including complex, multi-party, long-running litigation. In recent years his practice has focused on delay and cost-impact claims on major construction projects. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada every year since 2016 and by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, and has written and lectured extensively on construction law in Quebec and the United States. He trained academically in France, England and Canada, holding a Maîtrise, a Certificate in English Law, and Canadian LL.B. and LL.M. degrees. He is a longtime member of the Canadian Bar Association and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Canada, and serves as international vice-president of the construction section of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
