About Irwin

Irwin Ozier is a senior partner in Loopstra Nixon's Construction Group, with a broad trial and alternative dispute resolution practice. His work focuses primarily on construction litigation, and he also handles employment law, commercial leasing litigation and general commercial litigation matters. Irwin has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, and has argued before a range of administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Commission. For more than 20 years he has taught industry professionals about construction law and the remedies available in commercial leasing. Irwin was a partner at GSNH for over 25 years and served as one of its managing partners. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa, and belongs to the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association.
