Pavey Law LLP is a full-service firm that's deeply rooted in Cambridge. It's practised under the Pavey Law name since 1995, when it was named for Don Pavey and Brian Law, but the practice is much older than that. It continues predecessor firms whose roots reach back to the 1950s in Galt and the early 1930s in Preston. One of those Preston predecessors was started by Lida Pearson, whom the firm describes as one of the first women lawyers in Ontario.

- It's practised under the Pavey Law name since 1995, continuing predecessor firms that trace back to the 1950s in Galt and the 1930s in Preston.
- For more than three decades, from 1988 to 2022, the firm worked out of a renovated former Knights of Columbus Hall on Cambridge Street. It's since moved to its current office on Water Street in downtown Galt.
