About Ian

Ian Robert Buist joined Inch Hammond as an associate in 2017 following his articles at the firm. His practice spans corporate and commercial law, including business formation, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, commercial leasing and general corporate matters. Drawing on his earlier work in the commercial construction industry, he frequently advises property owners and contractors on construction-related issues. Ian earned his J.D. from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and an Honours B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University, and before law school he worked for a mid-sized general contractor.
