Ian Nicholls Mutter joined Dutton Brock in 2021 after articling and working at a prominent Bay Street insurance defence litigation firm. He has argued cases at most levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, and handles a wide range of insurance defence matters such as commercial general liability, tort claims, professional negligence, nuisance claims and coverage disputes. He earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Dalhousie University in 2012, received his Juris Doctor from Western University in 2017 and was called to the bar in 2018. He is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
