About Ian
Ian Morrison is an associate with Osler's own Emerging and High Growth Companies group. His background combines engineering training with corporate and securities work, and he advises start-ups and established businesses on significant transactions. Morrison has worked on numerous technology-sector deals, including acquisitions and financing rounds, helping founders navigate fundraising and everyday corporate matters. Before law school, he worked as a mining engineer at a gold mine in Nevada. He holds a J.D. and a B.A.Sc. in Mining Engineering, awarded with distinction, from the University of British Columbia, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association.
