About Ian

Ian Milne is a partner at Warren Sinclair LLP whose practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate, corporate and commercial law, business purchases and sales, banking and finance, and wills, estate planning and trusts. Raised on a hog and grain farm in Central Alberta, he earned a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Agricultural Business Management from the University of Alberta in 2001 and a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction from the same university in 2005. After articling and working as an associate in Edmonton, he returned to Central Alberta in 2008 and joined Gerig Hamilton Neeland LLP, becoming a partner there in 2011. He joined Warren Sinclair LLP when the two firms merged in 2017. Ian has served as a director of the Westerner Exposition Association and currently sits on the board of the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre.
