About Ian
Ian MacLeod is counsel at Lenczner Slaght with a broad litigation practice spanning commercial disputes, class actions, employment, and professional liability and regulation. His professional liability work includes acting for physicians in civil and regulatory proceedings, as well as prosecuting cases on behalf of regulators such as the Law Society of Upper Canada and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. He has appeared before every level of court in Ontario along with various administrative boards and tribunals. Ian earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2010 and an HBSc in Human Biology and Archaeological Science, with high distinction, from the University of Toronto in 2006, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2011. Before law school, he competed internationally in swimming, representing Canada at the World University Games, and he received the University of Toronto's Male Athlete of the Year honour.
