About Ian

Ian is a partner and member of the firm's three-person management team, practising in criminal and civil litigation. He represents individuals, corporations and institutions in criminal, quasi-criminal and regulatory matters, advises police and investigative agencies, and routinely represents professionals facing disciplinary proceedings. Ian has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia and before numerous commissions and tribunals. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law, and has been a regular contributor and legal columnist for print media.
