About Hunter

Hunter Krete returned to Ingenuity LLP as its 2024-2025 articling student after previously working there as a summer student in 2023, and is set to join as an associate once his articles finish. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Wilfrid Laurier University. In law school he was selected for an advanced business law seminar taught by major Bay Street firms, covering private M&A, securities regulation, and debt and equity financing, and he competed in the Arnup Cup Trial Advocacy Competition. Between his undergraduate studies and law school, he worked as a parliamentary assistant, helping federal MPs with speech writing, policy development, and committee work.
