About Drew

Drew Allen is a partner at Ingenuity with a two-decade track record in financially significant and strategic mergers and acquisitions. He has advised on domestic and international transactions alongside top-tier firms in Toronto and abroad, and previously co-founded and was a partner at Allen & Co. LLP before joining Ingenuity as principal corporate partner. His work covers buying and selling businesses, structuring corporate startups, drafting commercial contracts, and setting up or repairing shareholder arrangements. Recent matters include the sale of more than 50 megawatts of rooftop solar projects, the establishment of independent restaurant operations and coffee franchise sales in Toronto, and the creation of shareholder agreements for industrial and restaurant franchise groups in Ontario. Drew was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1997 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Economics, a Bachelor of Common Laws, and a Bachelor of Civil Law, all from McGill University.
