About Hunter

Hunter Ceklic is an associate in Osler's Financial Services group. She advises fintechs, payment card participants, insurers and banks on the rules governing regulated financial businesses. Her work spans anti-money laundering, consumer lending, cost-of-borrowing legislation, bank regulation and credit reporting, and she has helped reporting entities build their AML policies and procedures. Governance advice for regulated institutions rounds out that practice. Ceklic took her J.D. at the University of Toronto, where she was co-president of the Business Law Society, after a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biological Sciences at the University of Manitoba. She came to Osler as a summer student in 2021 and articled with the firm, finishing in 2023.
