About Harjot

Harjot Brar is a Temporary Articled Student at Alexander Holburn, having joined the firm as a summer student in May 2025. She is an incoming third-year law student at Queen's University, where she is a member of the Queen's Labour and Employment Law Journal and serves as a student caseworker with Queen's Legal Aid, providing free legal services covering criminal law, employment law and human rights issues. Through that role she has participated in a mediation before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and appeared in the Superior Court of Justice for criminal case management proceedings. She has also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada on a legal memorandum concerning workplace accommodation for employees with disabilities. Before law school, Harjot earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia with high distinction, co-founded a health and wellness organization called CanAm, and worked as a Behaviour Interventionist supporting children and teens with autism.
