About HaoChen

HaoChen Zhang holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in law from the Université de Montréal, as well as an earlier law degree obtained in China. He is a member of both the Barreau du Québec and the Law Society of Ontario, as well as the Canadian Bar Association. He began his career at a Montreal law firm handling litigation matters, then practised civil and commercial law at De Grandpré Chait, and has practised with Rivest Tremblay Tétreault since the pandemic. His practice covers business incorporation, shareholder agreements, corporate governance, share capital structuring and financing, and the purchase and sale of businesses, along with drafting and negotiating commercial leases and franchise agreements. He has also handled real estate transactions and litigation, immigration, family, and estate and trust matters, for clients ranging from multinational and publicly traded companies to local businesses.
