About Guy

Guy Wellard is a partner with Cox & Palmer's business law group in the Halifax office, with a broad corporate commercial practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, corporate governance, franchise, commercial real estate, energy, and environmental matters. He earned a BA (Honours) in Political Science from Saint Mary's University before completing his law degree at the University of New Brunswick in 2015, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2016 after articling with the firm. Guy has completed the Osgoode Certificate in Canadian Securities Law and Practice, sits on the Atlantic Hydrogen Alliance's Board of Directors, and chairs Cox & Palmer's NS Talent Committee.
