About Oana

Oana Grant was born in Brasov, Romania, where she earned a civil law degree in 2001 before moving to British Columbia and completing a Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria in 2011. Called to the BC bar, she splits her civil litigation practice between personal injury claims for injured individuals and estate litigation for disinherited beneficiaries or executors defending a will. She also advises clients on personal planning tools like powers of attorney and representation agreements, and on wills and trusts. Oana has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia, including the Court of Appeal, and is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. She volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and served as President of the Victoria Chapter of the ALS Society of BC.
