About Ron
Ron Dumonceaux has practiced law since 1987, beginning his career in Saskatchewan before being called to the bar in Alberta (1996), British Columbia (1998), the Northwest Territories (2006), and Ontario (2008). He moved to British Columbia in 2000 and joined Dinning Hunter Law in 2002, becoming one of its lead lawyers in 2004. His practice focuses primarily on corporate law and residential real estate, and he has litigated at every level of court in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, the Federal Court, Tax Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He designed and continues to manage the Brydges system, a 24-hour on-call lawyer service for people detained under process of law in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories. Ron volunteers with Access Justice, an organization providing legal services to those who can't afford a lawyer. He holds an LLB and BA from the University of Saskatchewan.
