About Gordon

Gordon Kugler is senior counsel and heads the firm's litigation department, specializing in medical malpractice, class actions, professional and product liability, insurance litigation and commercial litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. He has obtained numerous multi-million-dollar awards, including on behalf of patients with permanent brain damage from obstetrical and anesthesia malpractice, and has appeared before the Québec Superior Court, the Court of Appeal of Québec and the Supreme Court of Canada. He is a frequent speaker at medical-legal conferences and has lectured at McGill University's law and medical schools. Kugler is also an experienced mediator and arbitrator, having co-mediated one of the longest and most complex court cases in Canadian history, and has been rated by Lexpert as a leading Québec lawyer in professional liability, product liability and class actions.
