About Gordon
Gordon Becher is a partner in DWF's Calgary office with a litigation practice focused on commercial, construction, energy, and Indigenous matters. He acts for corporations and insurers in commercial and construction disputes, including a significant practice defending design professionals, and he regularly represents First Nations in commercial and business disputes. Becher favours alternative dispute resolution and is known for practical, cost-effective advice in mediations and commercial arbitrations. He leads the firm's Construction practice group and previously led its Energy Litigation group. He holds a J.D. and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta, and he was called to the Alberta Bar in 2018, later becoming a member of the Saskatchewan and Manitoba bars as well.
