About Sheida

Sheida Amini joined Affinity Lawyers as an associate in 2024, holding a Master of Laws in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. She is building a broad corporate and commercial practice, advising on corporate formation and governance, drafting shareholder agreements, and handling mergers and acquisitions, along with business structuring, regulatory compliance, and commercial leasing matters. Sheida also acts for lenders structuring Sharia-compliant mortgage transactions, helping financial institutions navigate interest-free financing models. Before joining the firm, she managed complex commercial real estate and banking transactions, including large purchases, sales, and refinancings of real property and equipment for institutional lenders, private investors, and corporate clients. Outside of practice, she has published four novels.
