Georg Reuter is a partner and co-leader of Richards Buell Sutton's Employment and Human Rights Group, with over 30 years of experience in employment law, human rights, intellectual property, and technology licensing. He specializes in helping academic institutions commercialize technologies and advises both employers and employees on employment agreements and policies; his notable work includes advising UBC on major licensing deals, including a landmark $141.7 million agreement with Roche Pharmaceuticals. He holds an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia (1989) and studied Environmental & Resource Geography at the same university from 1983-1986, and was called to the bar in 1990. He was a finalist for LifeSciences BC's Deal of the Year Award in 2015 and received the Canadian Government's Deputy Minister Pride and Recognition Award in 2003.
