About Frank
Frank K. Gomberg was called to the Ontario Bar in 1979 and spent twenty years representing plaintiffs pursuing wrongful death and personal injury claims, including families at landmark coroners' inquests such as the 1995 TTC subway crash. The Law Society of Upper Canada recognized him as a Specialist in Civil Litigation in January 1990, a designation he resigned in 2005 as his practice shifted toward mediation. Frank now works full time as a mediator of civil cases before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, having handled more than 4,200 matters since 1995. He trained at the Harvard Mediation Workshop and its advanced program in the mid-1990s and has written on the role of apology in settlement. Frank has taught trial advocacy at Osgoode Hall Law School and for the Advocates' Society, and holds an LLM in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode as well as earlier degrees from Osgoode and McGill University.
