About Flavio

Flavio Battiston leads the firm's Real Estate Practice Group and has built a long career representing purchasers, vendors, borrowers, and lenders in commercial and residential deals. He also advises developers and builders on planning and development matters, with deep experience in raw land assembly, acquisition, and financing of mixed-use projects. His work has included golf course and land assembly transactions, commercial leasing, and asset recovery files. Flavio has litigated commercial and real property disputes at every level of court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. He earned his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1981 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1983. He has also been active for years in the North York and Vaughan community.
