About Andrew

Andrew Wray is the managing partner and practises primarily in civil and commercial litigation, labour and employment, long-term disability benefits, and administrative law. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2002 after earning his LLB from the University of Ottawa in 2001. Known for a strategic, numbers-driven approach, he weighs the cost and benefit of every step to keep matters focused on his clients' goals. He appears regularly before tribunals and all levels of court, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court and its Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has acted as counsel in three notable precedent-setting cases before the Ontario Court of Appeal, including Sutherland Estate v. Murphy and Kassburg v. Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
