Farah Zaman

About Farah

Farah Zaman is an associate at Summit Law LLP practicing civil litigation with a focus on insurance defence, including motor vehicle accident and personal injury matters. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and the Small Claims Court, and regularly represents clients at mediations, drawing on strong advocacy skills developed through documentary disclosure appearances. Before joining Summit Law LLP, she completed her articles at a plaintiff's personal injury firm in Toronto, where she drafted pleadings, motion records, and legal opinions and conducted discoveries. She holds a J.D. from the University of Windsor and a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, both awarded in 2020, along with an M.A. and a B.Soc.Sc. from the University of Ottawa, and was called to the bar in 2022. She practices in English, French, Bengali, and Hindi, and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Carleton County Law Association, and Canadian Defence Lawyers.
