Eva Lane practises employment law and civil litigation from SV Law's Elora office and chairs the firm's Employment Law Practice Group. Before joining SV Law in 2020, she worked at a local Waterloo Region firm and then at a large national firm. She primarily advises employers on employment contracts, terminations, wrongful dismissal claims, workplace policies, accommodation, and human rights compliance, along with occupational health and safety matters, including OHSA charges and WSIB issues. Her litigation practice also covers select commercial and condominium disputes. Eva earned her J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2014, where she served as a Senior Editor of the Law Review, and holds an M.A. from McMaster University and a B.A. (Hons.) from Mount Allison University. She was called to the bar in 2015.
