Erik Savas heads the Litigation Department at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP, bringing nearly 25 years of experience to civil, commercial, and condominium disputes. His peers have named him one of the Best Lawyers in Canada for corporate and commercial litigation in both 2025 and 2026. Erik is regarded as one of the province's leading condominium advocates, having acted for corporations, owners, and property managers in cases that have shaped how the industry understands key issues, and he writes and speaks often on condo law topics. He appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, its Commercial List, the Court of Appeal, Divisional Court, Small Claims Court, and specialized tribunals including the Condominium Authority Tribunal and Human Rights Tribunal.
