Lavictoire worked as an Assistant Crown Attorney in Cornwall from 2010 to 2011 before returning to private practice with a local firm handling criminal law, civil litigation, and family law. Born and raised in Cornwall, Lavictoire holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Criminology (2005) and a law degree (2008), both from the University of Ottawa, and worked at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic while in law school. Lavictoire is a member of l'Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario (AJEFO) and offers services in both English and French, practising in criminal law, civil litigation, wills and estates, and real estate.
