About Alexis
Alexis MacLachlan joined the firm as a legal assistant in 2015 before attending law school at the University of Ottawa, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2023. MacLachlan completed articling with the firm and was called to the Bar in March 2024. During law school, MacLachlan was a peer mentor, a note-taker for students with accessibility needs, and a participant in the Walker Health Law moot, and received the Corbin Estates Law Prize for Excellence in Wills and the Law of Succession as well as the 2023 Pat V. Rudden Memorial Bursary from the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Law Association. MacLachlan holds an undergraduate degree from McGill University, majoring in Psychology with minors in Economics and Behavioural Science. MacLachlan practises family law, civil litigation, real estate, landlord and tenant law, and wills and estates, and has served as a Director on the Board for BGC Cornwall/SD&G since 2021.
