About Eric
Eric Davis practices municipal and planning law, along with farm law, out of the Waterloo office. The Law Society of Ontario has designated him a Certified Specialist in Municipal Law, covering local government and land use planning and development, since 2013. He represents homeowners, businesses, developers, and farmers, as well as municipalities and public bodies such as school boards. His work includes rezonings, plans of subdivision, site plans, minor variances, severances, and appeals to the Ontario Land Tribunal, along with municipal conflicts of interest, prosecutions, by-law drafting, tax sales, heritage matters, and elections. He regularly appears before municipal councils, committees of adjustment, heritage committees, and provincial tribunals related to agriculture and land use. Eric was called to the bar in 2006 and holds an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa and a B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University.
