About Eric
Eric C. Rogers is an associate in Baker Newby's solicitors' department. Born and raised in Chilliwack, he joined the firm as an articling student in May 2024 and was called to the BC Bar in May 2025. He completed a Bachelor of Science at Trinity Western University while playing basketball for the Spartans, then attended Thompson Rivers University for law school, where he provided legal aid at the TRU Legal Clinic, competed in the Kawaskimhon National Aboriginal Moot, assistant-coached the TRU men's basketball team, and co-founded The Gavel, a satirical legal newspaper. He has volunteered with underprivileged youth at the Cyrus Centre and coached basketball in remote Indigenous communities.
