About Enrique

Enrique Dubon-Roberts is a partner at BDL Family Law LLP with more than 18 years of experience in family law disputes, focused on support and property division as well as cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements. Born in El Salvador and raised in Calgary, he was a high school teacher before becoming a lawyer, an experience that still shapes his approach with clients. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with distinction and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary English Literature in 1999, followed by a law degree in 2007, all from the University of Calgary. He takes a child-centred approach when children are involved and aims to resolve matters outside of court whenever possible. He is fluent in Spanish and offers services in that language.
