About Emma

Emma Wilson is an associate lawyer at Adept Family Lawyers, practising predominantly in family law. She represents clients on custody, child support, spousal support, and division of property, and has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen's Bench, and the Court of Appeal of Alberta. She also advises clients on wills and estates matters that often arise alongside a separation. Wilson earned her Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick in 2018 and her B.A. (Hons.) from Mount Allison University in 2015, where she received the David Beatty History Award. She was called to the bar in Alberta and Nova Scotia in 2019. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, a non-practising member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, and a member of the Calgary Bar Association.
