About Gerardo

Gerardo Quintero is an associate family law lawyer at BDL, originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela. He earned his law degree from Rafael Urdaneta University in 2017, then moved to Calgary, completed a Business Management diploma at SAIT in 2020, and graduated at the top of his class from the University of Calgary's Foreign Trained Lawyers Program while completing his National Committee on Accreditation requirements. He was called to the Alberta bar in June 2025 and practices across all areas of family law, including child and spousal support, parenting, property division and mediation. Fluent in English and Spanish with proficiency in French, he brings a multicultural perspective informed by his international background.
