Rachelle Saint-Laurent

About Rachelle

Rachelle Saint-Laurent works as an associate in the Disputes group at Osler's Montreal office. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master's degree in Public Law, both from Université de Montréal; her thesis, which examined asymmetries among the provinces under the Canadian Constitution and how the Supreme Court has interpreted them, earned an "Outstanding" rating from the evaluating jury. While pursuing her graduate studies, Saint-Laurent received the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Scholarship for Excellence and a graduate scholarship from Canada's Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. As an undergraduate, she spent eight months interning for the Honourable Marie-France Bich at the Quebec Court of Appeal, earning a Mention of Excellence each term. She has also been active in student life at the university, including as president of its Access to Justice Committee and as a member of its legal clinic for non-profit organizations, part of the National Student Pro Bono Network.
