About Timothy

Timothy Foster is a criminal defence lawyer with 32 years of experience, focusing largely on impaired driving litigation. He has represented clients across Western Canada and has argued cases involving warrantless searches, police abuse of process, and Charter rights breaches. Foster has appeared at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, on issues related to impaired driving investigations and breath testing procedures. He was granted the Queen's Counsel designation in 2016 in recognition of his contributions to the practice of law, mentoring members of the bar, and community volunteering.
