About Emma

As an Associate in the Halifax office, Emma's work is primarily in lender-side financings, commercial real estate, commercial leasing and contracts, serving developers, lenders and local business owners. Before law, she worked as an investigator, an anti-money laundering policy advisor, an intelligence analyst, a law enforcement officer, a university educator, and ran a small business for two decades. She holds a BSc, an MA and a law degree, and completed most of the coursework toward a PhD. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2022 after earning her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2021.
