About Elisabeth
Elisabeth van Rensburg is a partner at Beard Winter with a practice that spans insurance law, commercial litigation, corporate law, and entertainment law. Over more than a decade in insurance work, she has represented individuals, corporations, and public sector clients on matters including bodily injury, accident benefits, loss transfer and priority disputes, professional and sport liability, tavern liability, construction disputes, and coverage questions. She has been named annually since 2023 to Best Lawyers in Canada's Ones to Watch list for insurance and personal injury litigation. Her commercial litigation work extends to real estate, breach of contract, and construction matters, and she is also building a corporate and entertainment law practice. Elisabeth has served as lead counsel in jury trials, private arbitrations, and administrative hearings, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2015.
