About Kirby
Kirby Cohen is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Goodmans. Her practice covers a range of corporate and commercial disputes, including complex contract matters, shareholder disputes, electricity law, real estate disputes, fraud allegations, plans of arrangement, and judicial reviews. Kirby also practices intellectual property litigation, and has acted for one of Canada's largest generic pharmaceutical manufacturers on cases involving patent validity and infringement, damages and profits calculations, contract disputes, trademarks, and claims under section 8 of the Patented Medicines regulations. She has tried cases and argued appeals before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, including the Commercial List, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and in arbitration.
