About Eden

Eden believes that resolving a client's problem often starts simply with a phone call, whether to opposing counsel or another party, since a conversation can accomplish a great deal. Through many such conversations, she has handled a wide variety of corporate and commercial litigation matters, including franchising disputes, property and real estate conflicts, mortgage enforcement, employment issues, and trust and estate matters. A capable oral and written advocate, she recently co-authored a chapter in Justice Archibald's Annual Review of Civil Litigation, examining the absence of clear judicial guidance on admitting wrongfully obtained evidence in civil cases. She has appeared as counsel for businesses and individuals before every level of court in Ontario, as well as in private arbitrations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in her kitchen experimenting with healthy baking and often hosts family and friends, and she is active in her community, which she sees as central to happiness.
