E. Neil Kornfeld is a highly regarded real estate lawyer, acting for commercial and residential developers on the acquisition and redevelopment of noteworthy and unique sites in British Columbia, with over 25 years of experience in real property law, bankruptcy, and insolvency. His practice covers complex development projects, density transfers, heritage preservation, land assemblies, and re-zonings, and he maintains an active insolvency practice representing lenders, creditors, and debtors. He previously practised at Freeman & Company, where he made partner within four years and headed the insolvency department, before founding Kornfeld LLP.
