Marcus is the founder of Crossroads Law and Coach My Case, practicing family law in both Alberta and British Columbia with a focus on collaborative divorce, mediation, and arbitration. A former social worker, he is an accredited family law mediator and certified collaborative divorce lawyer who also litigates complex, high net-worth matters involving business interests, forensic accounting, and cross-border disputes, including cases under the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction. He has represented clients before the Provincial Court, the BC Supreme Court, the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, and the Alberta Court of Appeal, and in 2021 launched Coach My Case, offering legal coaching to self-represented litigants. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's committee for unbundled legal services and volunteers with Access Pro Bono of British Columbia.
