About Duane

Duane McAfee, KC, is counsel in Cox & Palmer's Saint John office, practicing corporate and commercial law, estates and trusts, corporate finance, and real estate law. He was called to the New Brunswick bar in 1988 after studying at the University of New Brunswick, and joined Cox & Palmer in January 2013 after previously practicing at the former firm of Barry Spalding. Duane was appointed King's Counsel in 2024, and has been involved with community organizations including the KV Food Basket, Safe Haven Inc., and the Mental Health Tribunal, which he chairs.
