About Cindy
Cindy L. Scharff is a founding partner at Scharff Nyland Chambers LLP, serving clients in Barrie and the surrounding area. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Law in 2001 and initially practiced family law in London, Ontario, where she also taught Business Law and the Law Clerk's Program at Fanshawe College and served on the board of the Women's Community House shelter. After the birth of her second child, she moved to Barrie, where she has guided Simcoe County residents through family law matters ever since. She has taught in the Law Clerk and Paralegal programs at Georgian College and serves as a Dispute Resolution Officer in Barrie's Superior Court of Justice Family Court. With more than twenty years of family law experience spanning negotiation, collaborative practice, and litigation, Cindy has been certified in Collaborative Family Law since 2006.
